The opening of Idôle L’Intense gives me a burst of rose with sweet, orange notes. As it settles throughout the day, you start to smell the notes of vanilla and musk and its bottom woody notes become more apparent. For me, it differs from the original as it adds a heavier dose of rose and citrus. It’s definitely stronger and just like it’s name – more intense. Although there is a bit of similarity between the two, I definitely see Idôle L’Intense as more of a going-out scent out of the two, however you can still wear it throughout the day.

The bottle design also differs as it’s no longer see-through – it has a pink and gold sheen instead. To be completely honest the difference between them colour-wise doesn’t really bother me because they both look pretty and I really enjoy the thin design of the bottle instead.

Both Idôle and Idôle L’Intense are Eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum has the highest concentration of fragrance – generally having a fragrance concentration of between 15% and 20%. On average, Eau de Parfum should last from four to five hours, if not more. This differs from Eau de Toilette which has a fragrance concentration of between 5% and 15%. Eau de Toilette is definitely one of the most popular types of fragrances and it’s cheaper than EDP but it will normally only last for two to three hours.
